Play Melody AND Chords in ONE Hand (The Piano Trick That Sounds Impossible)
Play melody AND chords in one hand on piano — the trick that sounds impossible but isn't. Learn how to carry the tune, the harmony and the rhythm all in your right hand, freeing up your left for a strong bass line and a richer, fuller sound. In this lesson Jason Zac from Nathaniel School of Music builds the technique step by step. You'll start with a scale-and-chord warm-up using arpeggios, form the I, IV and V chords from the major scale, then play the scale ascending and descending with triads and flowing HLML arpeggios. From there you'll take a tune you already know — "Twinkle Twinkle" — and play its melody, harmony and rhythm pattern all in one hand, including a four-note voicing for the triads and time-feels like triplets and a gallop. It's the kind of skill that makes people think you've magically grown an extra hand. If you can already play basic chords and want your right hand to do far more, this is the lesson that unlocks it. 🏫 Courses, Workshops or Private lessons ➡️ https://forms.gle/fsbhFKSgJbZ5xZEr8 ============================= 📹 Our Video Courses (Everything for Life Bundle) ➡️ https://learn-music.nathanielschool.com/ 🎹 Piano Courses & Private Lessons ➡️ https://piano.nathanielschool.com ============================= ▶️ Related Lessons & Playlists 🎼 Music Theory ➡️ https://geni.us/PianoTheory 👂 Ear Training ➡️ https://geni.us/EarTraining 🎹 Arpeggios ➡️ https://geni.us/Arpeggios 🔁 All our Chord Inversions lessons ➡️ https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLrNNL05e9FT9ygtrGwGFmfyvMyGWH52EC ============================= 🎓 Learn Music with Nathaniel School of Music & Jason Zac ➡️ https://nathanielschool.com 📚 All our YouTube lessons (1000+) by skill level, topic & genre ➡️ https://learning-portal.nathanielschool.com ============================= ⏳ Chapters 00:00 Introduction 02:19 Building the Scale 05:00 Forming the I, IV & V chords from the Major Scale 08:25 Playing the Scale ascending & descending using "Triads" 13:27 Playing the Scale with flowing "Arpeggios" (HLML pattern) 18:19 Playing "Twinkle Twinkle" with Melody, Harmony & Rhythm Pattern in ONE hand 20:35 Demonstration of 4 note voicing for triads 24:10 Play the Melody with "Time feels" - Triplets & "Gallop" 26:50 Conclusion 💰 Donate on PayPal ➡️ https://geni.us/DonatePayPal 📸 Instagram ➡️ https://instagram.com/jasonzac 📞 Call +91 98454 65411 · 💬 WhatsApp chat +91 77604 56847 📧 Customised & Private Classes ➡️ music@nathanielschool.com 🎧 Listen to Jason Zac Music ➡️ https://riffs.jasonzacmusic.com/ #MelodyAndChords #PianoTechnique #PianoLesson
