How to Use Simple Triads to Play COMPLEX Piano Chords (Modal Harmony Part 2)
Using slash chords — triads in the right hand over a different bass note in the left — learn the formulae to form seventh chords, modal harmony, jazz extensions and altered chords. Jason Zac from Nathaniel School of Music shows you how to play a simple triad in the right hand over a different bass note in the left to create seventh chords, modal harmony, jazz extensions and altered chords. You'll learn all the essential chord and interval theory needed to play an upper extension with respect to the root of the overall chord, turning shapes you already know into rich, complex harmony.
