A Piano Exercise to Master Sixteenth Notes (Theory + Tutorial Part 2)
Part two of this series focuses on a sixteenth note melody, supported by left-hand chords on each hit point. In this lesson, we explore how to use rests and plan them within the rhythm. Using a G Dorian melody composed with 16 semiquavers, we improve our hand independence by counting each sixteenth note in a bar of 4/4. In Part 1, we focus on counting the sub divisions, while in Part 2, we focus on using Rhythmic Devices to compose & improvise freely. 🏫 Courses, Workshops or Private lessons ➡️ https://forms.gle/fsbhFKSgJbZ5xZEr8 00:00 - Performance 00:21 - Introduction 01:02 - Revision of Part 1 01:40 - Missing Beats 03:32 - All Trivial Rhythms 07:50 - Miss 1 and Play 3 12:43 - 2 hits and 2 misses 17:57 - Play 1 and Miss 3 20:44 - Exercise 1 21:19 - Exercise 2 21:30 - Exercise 3 22:03 - Exercise 4 22:37 - Exercise 5 23:19 - Conclusion ============================= 📹 Our Video Courses (Everything for Life Bundle) ➡️ https://learn-music.nathanielschool.com/ 🎹 Piano Courses & Private Lessons ➡️ https://piano.nathanielschool.com ============================= ▶️ Related Lessons & Playlists 🎵 Music Theory lessons ➡️ https://geni.us/PianoTheory 🎹 All our lessons on Chord Inversions (Playlist) ➡️ https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLrNNL05e9FT9ygtrGwGFmfyvMyGWH52EC 👂 Ear Training lessons ➡️ https://geni.us/EarTraining ============================= 🎓 Learn Music with Nathaniel School of Music & Jason Zac ➡️ https://nathanielschool.com 📚 All our YouTube lessons (1000+) by skill level, topic & genre ➡️ https://learning-portal.nathanielschool.com ============================= 💰 Donate on PayPal ➡️ https://geni.us/DonatePayPal 📸 Instagram ➡️ https://instagram.com/jasonzac 📞 Call +91 98454 65411 · 💬 WhatsApp chat +91 77604 56847 📧 Customised & Private Classes ➡️ music@nathanielschool.com 🎧 Listen to Jason Zac Music ➡️ https://riffs.jasonzacmusic.com/ #SixteenthNotes #RhythmPractice #PianoExercises Continue this lesson series Part 1: sixteenth-note exercise and hit points — https://youtu.be/zgsbpsms6Mk
