Practise Ear Training Using Transposition of the FROZEN Note
In this ear training lesson, we practise singing intervals and gain confidence with relative pitch. The concept used in the lesson is based on the "Frozen" note, where you transpose the melody around the new anchor note (root). We learn the intervals, see how they are notated in staff, work out the intervals of Somewhere Over the Rainbow, and then practise pitch freezing and flipping with Twinkle Twinkle Little Star. 🏫 Courses, Workshops or Private lessons ➡️ https://forms.gle/fsbhFKSgJbZ5xZEr8 00:00 - Introduction 01:30 - A Familiar Song 01:43 - Let’s learn the Intervals 03:35 - How Intervals are Notated in Staff 04:34 - Intervals of Somewhere over the Rainbow 06:01 - Pitch Freezing & Flipping 08:50 - Twinkle Twinkle (Yet Again!) 11:17 - Conclusion ============================= 📹 Our Video Courses (Everything for Life Bundle) ➡️ https://learn-music.nathanielschool.com/ 🎹 Piano Courses & Private Lessons ➡️ https://piano.nathanielschool.com ============================= ▶️ Related Lessons & Playlists 🎵 Music Theory lessons ➡️ https://geni.us/PianoTheory 🎹 All our lessons on Chord Inversions (Playlist) ➡️ https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLrNNL05e9FT9ygtrGwGFmfyvMyGWH52EC 👂 Ear Training lessons ➡️ https://geni.us/EarTraining ============================= 🎓 Learn Music with Nathaniel School of Music & Jason Zac ➡️ https://nathanielschool.com 📚 All our YouTube lessons (1000+) by skill level, topic & genre ➡️ https://learning-portal.nathanielschool.com ============================= 💰 Donate on PayPal ➡️ https://geni.us/DonatePayPal 📸 Instagram ➡️ https://instagram.com/jasonzac 📞 Call +91 98454 65411 · 💬 WhatsApp chat +91 77604 56847 📧 Customised & Private Classes ➡️ music@nathanielschool.com 🎧 Listen to Jason Zac Music ➡️ https://riffs.jasonzacmusic.com/ #EarTraining #RelativePitch #SingingIntervals
