Make Catchy Piano Melodies From a Vocal Rhythm (No Fancy Theory)
Create catchy, memorable piano melodies starting from a rhythm you sing with your voice - no fancy theory needed. Jason Zac from Nathaniel School of Music shows the most natural way to compose: clap or sing a percussion pattern, pick a scale, and turn it into a memorable motif you can play anywhere. You'll then develop a pattern around that motif over I, IV, V and vi, and explore a static right-hand pattern with a floating left hand (and the reverse) - a simple, theory-light path to writing your own music. ⏱️ Chapters 00:00 Introduction 02:03 Making a rhythmic melody 07:58 Breaking down the melody 09:32 Working on the left hand 12:08 Building patterns 14:57 Recap 🏫 Courses, Workshops or Private lessons ➡️ https://forms.gle/fsbhFKSgJbZ5xZEr8 ============================= 📹 Our Video Courses (Everything for Life Bundle) ➡️ https://learn-music.nathanielschool.com/ 🎹 Piano Courses & Private Lessons ➡️ https://piano.nathanielschool.com ============================= ▶️ Related Lessons & Playlists 🎵 Music Theory reference ➡️ https://geni.us/MusicTheory ============================= 🎓 Learn Music with Nathaniel School of Music & Jason Zac ➡️ https://nathanielschool.com 📚 All our YouTube lessons (1000+) by skill level, topic & genre ➡️ https://learning-portal.nathanielschool.com ============================= 💰 Donate on PayPal ➡️ https://geni.us/DonatePayPal 📸 Instagram ➡️ https://instagram.com/jasonzac 📞 Call +91 98454 65411 · 💬 WhatsApp chat +91 77604 56847 📧 Customised & Private Classes ➡️ music@nathanielschool.com 🎧 Listen to Jason Zac Music ➡️ https://riffs.jasonzacmusic.com/ #MelodyWriting #PianoMelody #Songwriting
