Triads Aren't Just 3 Notes! Learn to Sing Any Chord Shape by Ear
There are six different shapes hiding inside every triad, and this lesson trains your ear to sing them all. You'll learn what closed and open voicings actually are (with piano examples), how to recognise and play all triad inversions, ear training techniques using Swaras (Sa–Ga–Pa) for precision, and the ultimate test: singing spread triads without any reference. Whether you're a vocalist, pianist, or music student, this lesson bridges the gap between harmony and ear training. 🏫 Courses, Workshops or Private lessons ➡️ https://forms.gle/fsbhFKSgJbZ5xZEr8 00:00 - Performance 00:34 - Introduction to the Lesson 02:31 - Closed vs Open Voicing Explained 02:49 - What is Closed Position? 05:27 - 6 Shapes of a Triad: 3 Closed + 3 Open 09:07 - Interval Breakdown of Each Shape 09:52 - Finding the Root in Any Inversion 14:03 - Ear Training Ground Rules (Level 1 to 3) 14:15 - Level 1 : Play traids as blocks 14:32 - Level 2 : Play the root or refernce interval 15:02 - Level 3 : No Piano, just your voice 16:05 - How to Sing a Triad Using Swaras (Sa–Ga–Pa) 16:56 - The Ultimate Challenge: Singing Spread Voicings 23:10 - Recap & Practice Plan 25:05 - Conclusion ============================= 📹 Our Video Courses (Everything for Life Bundle) ➡️ https://learn-music.nathanielschool.com/ 🎹 Piano Courses & Private Lessons ➡️ https://piano.nathanielschool.com ============================= ▶️ Related Lessons & Playlists 👂 Ear Training lessons ➡️ https://geni.us/EarTraining 🎵 Music Theory lessons ➡️ https://geni.us/PianoTheory 🎹 All our lessons on Chord Inversions (Playlist) ➡️ https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLrNNL05e9FT9ygtrGwGFmfyvMyGWH52EC ============================= 🎓 Learn Music with Nathaniel School of Music & Jason Zac ➡️ https://nathanielschool.com 📚 All our YouTube lessons (1000+) by skill level, topic & genre ➡️ https://learning-portal.nathanielschool.com ============================= 💰 Donate on PayPal ➡️ https://geni.us/DonatePayPal 📸 Instagram ➡️ https://instagram.com/jasonzac 📞 Call +91 98454 65411 · 💬 WhatsApp chat +91 77604 56847 📧 Customised & Private Classes ➡️ music@nathanielschool.com 🎧 Listen to Jason Zac Music ➡️ https://riffs.jasonzacmusic.com/ #SingTriads #EarTraining #ChordInversions
