Once you understand the core intervals, you can build every triad and seventh chord in music yourself. Jason Zac from Nathaniel School of Music explores the importance of intervals when forming chords on the piano — triads and sevenths. You'll start with the essential intervals — the Perfect 5th, Perfect 4th, Major 3rd and Minor 3rd — and use them to build the rest of the interval family.
