Piano Left Hand Techniques: Melodic Missing Beats (Chords in the Gaps)

In this series, Jason Zac shows a number of GO TO left hand patterns which can be used to develop groove and harmony while freeing up the Right Hand for Melody and Improvisation. Methods to develop Independence between the hands are also covered. In Part 2, we cover a popular technique when the Left Hand develops a comping pattern at the gaps with chords while the Right Hand plays a melody line. We apologize for a few audio glitches during the recording 🙂 Collaborate. Jam. Learn.
